I believe design could change the world!
I feel a strong responsibility as a designer to create ethical and sustainable products and concepts for a better future that have a positive impact on the environment and different social groups.
I have been working on modular, sustainable accessories and clothing systems since the beginning of my design studies, and I am working toward the future.
My graduate collection is a group of adaptive shape-changing clothing accessories. The objects are made using a minimal tailoring method with laser-cut perforations to create flexible structures, which makes it possible to size and shape the transformation of the bags in an adaptive way using the elements inserted in them. The collection pieces minimize the amount of raw material used and tailoring waste during manufacturing. I present pattern systems and variations on leather materials of different thicknesses and characters through the scale and pattern variations of the several cut surfaces.
