About
I am a textiles print designer dedicated to creating visually striking and innovative prints. I explore the intersection of masculine and feminine stereotypes, challenging traditional fashion norms, reimaging femininity and empowering the wearer to express individuality beyond binary norms. My work celebrates self-expression and encourages a more inclusive, fluid understanding of identity in fashion.
“Women's liberation is the liberation of the feminine in the man and the masculine in the woman”. This project explores the intersection of masculine and feminine stereotypes, creating a conversation that challenges traditional fashion norms. It incorporates masculine elements such as checks and pinstripes, symbolizing strength and structure, while contrasting them with traditionally feminine motifs like florals and lace, which represent softness and delicacy. It is an exploration of duality - where rigid, tailored patterns converge with fluid, intricate designs, reimagining femininity beyond societal expectations, embracing a more complex and layered identity.
