About
I am a jewellery designer maker, with a background in the traditional jewellery crafts like diamond mounting, enamelling and many other jewellery processes. My passion for design lead me to Central St Martins where my style flourished and developed. With a Scandinavian heritage and a keen eye for detail, all my work is intricate, bold and stylish.
This project is about my personal experiences with having both ADHD and dyslexia. Beading as a material and technique is what I used in this project, due to its long history of storytelling. Each piece tells a different story, some are purely personal others are the scientific sides of ADHD and dyslexia. One example being the veil: I based it on the concept of "masking" where a neurodivergent individual hides or mask their disability, to appear "normal".
