About

I am a textile designer based in Tel Aviv and a recent graduate of Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art, where I specialized in knitting. My work is rooted in a deep sensitivity to materials, combining a thoughtful exploration of texture, structure, and form.I approach textile design as a language, one that can hold memory, convey emotion, and express the invisible through material presence.Personal narratives are central to my creative process. I often respond to emotional states, inner reflections, or fragments of memory through knitted structures and layered compositions,  translating emotional landscapes into tactile ones. Alongside this introspective approach,I also draw on the natural world for inspiration, exploring organic forms, patterns, and flows found in nature and use them as visual and conceptual triggers. These threads of the personal and the environmental intertwine in my process, allowing each project to evolve from both emotion and observation.I am especially drawn to the sculptural and sensory possibilities of knitting, using  various techniques to create layered and textured surfaces. I often integrate printed elements and woven fabrics to expand the material vocabulary and shape the behavior of the textile. My work reflects a quiet tension between softness and structure, freedom and control, the intimate and the abstract.

Exploring satellite imagery from different parts of the world led me to create a series of textile works that focus on the vertical line as a symbol of human presence, vulnerability, and the link between the physical and the spiritual. From above, the landscape reveals patterns, textures, and lines that often go unnoticed from the ground. These visual discoveries allow for a fresh perspective on the environment, where details blur and larger structures emerge. In my work, I focus on how lines appear in nature, through geological cracks, flowing streams, tree formations, and human-made paths and roads. Some lines connect and others divide. I translate these into knitted textiles using an industrial knitting machine, working mainly with natural fibers like cotton and wool. I combine knitting with woven fabrics to explore the contrast between flexibility and structure. The final collection includes wearable and sculptural knitted pieces that balance softness and strength, transparency and density. These textiles reflect both the outer landscape and inner emotional states, offering a tactile exploration of presence and change.
