About
I describe myself as visual communicator/ illustrator with a particular interest in publication, book arts, print making and concept driven projects. My most recent project explores sense of place and feeling tied to location. I love to adapt to what suits the concept and journey of a project best and sometimes that includes playing with elements of moving image too!
This project is a research project that explores the limitations imposed by distance when trying to uncover and come to understand a place you've not visited. I lean into these limitations by taking my source imagery of British Columbia Canada solely from Google Earth in order to explore my personal journey on moving abroad, where our reliance on glitches and often outdated information influence our knowledge and sense of a place from afar. The project manifests in a publication, a unity animation and when displayed, paired with large map formats.
