About
My name is Paulina and I'm currently working on my master's degree in interior design at Academy of Arts in Szczecin, Poland. I specialize in designing places for people to feel comfortable in and that are not only aestheticly pleasing but also functional. I'm known for using bold colors and combining different materials along with textures. My main inspiration is 80's memphis style.
In my free time I'm a very active bookworm.
The main goal of the project is to create a friendly and unique space aimed at fostering reading habits among younger generations. The central part of the concept consists of six separate reading rooms, each dedicated to a different literary genre: romance, fantasy, crime, adventure, science fiction, and non-fiction. Their shapes are derived from the first letters of the genre names (in polish), and each space has been designed with attention to associations, color schemes, and materials characteristic of the respective style. Readers enter the interiors through individual corridors that hint at the atmosphere of each room.
