About

My sculptural practice centers on wire as both material and language. Through repetition, labor-intensive processes, and the adaptation of textile techniques such as weaving and basketry, I push the boundaries of wire beyond its structural qualities to create forms that are organic, playful, and deeply personal.

Rooted in my experiences between Argentina, Uruguay, and the United States, my work explores displacement, cultural connection, and the search for belonging. I embrace complication and intentional difficulty in my making, where time and effort become part of the value of the sculpture itself. By moving between abstraction, wearable objects, and participatory projects, I aim to create art that resonates equally in the gallery, the street, and everyday life—accessible yet layered, playful yet rigorous.

At MICA, I developed a body of work that expanded my wire practice through abstraction, textile-inspired techniques, and participatory processes. I explored form, color, and repetition as ways to challenge labor and materiality, while also addressing migration, identity, and belonging. My sculptures ranged from abstract and wearable pieces to site-specific interventions and collaborative projects, transforming wire into both a personal and collective language.
