Hello! My name is Jacob, I'm a graphic designer. I work with unrelenting positivity, unique creativity, and persistent eagerness.I specialise in creating animated brand identities, bringing clear communication and an optimistic attitude to every project, ensuring successful collaborations and impactful outcomes. Putting my projects into motion helps these projects come to life, while I push them even further by experimenting with 3D design, typography, and using code within my design process. I am driven to push my design skills forward which I have achieved by undertaking various projects for real clients alongside university projects. Furthermore I actively involve myself in the design community by attending industry events where I aim to continue expanding my knowledge in the field. I am excited to meet and learn from lots of brilliantly creative people and continue enhancing my design capabilities by working with various talented teams.
Ombrē is a lifestyle brand built around an adjustable light switch, designed for a generation that prioritises comfort, self-care, and a balanced lifestyle. The switch allows users to set the mood for any moment by controlling the shade and tone of their lighting — ranging from bright white for productivity to soft, warm light for relaxation. The brand name, Ombrē, refers to a “gradual shift in tone between light and dark,” inspiring the use of halftone patterns in the visual identity. These patterns symbolise the dynamic range of the switch, moving beyond simple on/off functionality to offer complete control of lighting in a space — from dim to bright and warm to cool.
