I’m a recent graduate from Massey University with a Bachelor of Design (Honours), majoring in Industrial Design. Currently based in Dunedin, New Zealand, I’m passionate about creating thoughtful, user-centered design solutions where function informs and elevates the aesthetic.
Walking aids unfortunately carry a stigma that discourages potential users, despite the significant benefits they can offer. This product aims to address this issue through design by reimagining the rollator walker, with careful considerations being made on safety, ergonomics and aesthetic. "Stryde" is a walker which users would be proud to own, challenging its current negative perception, and encouraging greater acceptance.
