About
I am an interdisciplinary artist with a background in painting and art history. despite having just graduated, i am only just at the beginning of my developmental journey as an artist, experimenting with anything and everything in order to supplement my research.
The human need to communicate and ‘leave a mark’ is ancient, visible even in the earliest traces of prehistoric life. Symbols - both representational and abstract - have persisted throughout history, surviving even the twentieth century’s so-called ‘death of painting.’ In my Aftoglyph installation, I created 121 glyphs shaped from forms that feel both organic and alien. Each distills my exploration of line and form into a visual fingerprint of my aesthetic language, shaped by targeted research and refined automation. My work seeks the obscure while probing the innate. The installation’s fragments invite viewers to assemble meaning for themselves.
