About
Hello, I’m Seoyun Choi! I am passionate about creating visual and functional designs on solving clients’ needs and goals. The projects I've worked on range from brand identity, and typography to digital presentations.
Warm Shelter is a local organisation that provides housing for people who can't afford the high cost of heating during the winter in the UK. However, the visual language that was being used did not convey the communal aspects of the place. My redesign therefore focused on developing a warmer and more communal quality to the communication as well as ensuring it could be used in several different media contexts. To achieve that, I developed both a set of illustrations and a wordmark. The looped apex of the "W" takes inspiration from human connections – the ebb and flow of relations – and the movements and gestures of the people who used the space. I have been excited to support Warm Shelter's mission of providing the public with a warm shelter as well as helping to expand their services.
