This project seeks to revive Sanjhi art, a traditional Indian declining craft, by documenting its journey and integrating it into contemporary fashion and designs. Through a black and white animated short film, aiming to showcase the cultural significance of Sanjhi while interviewing artisans, and experts. The film will feature captivating graphic illustrated scenes incorporating Sanjhi motifs, adding depth to the storytelling. Concurrently, will have collaborative design projects to produce products inspired by Sanjhi art. By bridging tradition with modernity, this initiative aims to preserve Sanjhi art while infusing it into the contemporary design landscape, ensuring its legacy for future generations.
