Weijie Wang is a product designer with a strong passion for understanding people and helping them comprehend complex concepts by making things easy, intuitive, and accessible. He has cultivated a global understanding and leadership through four years of work experience in product design across China, Taiwan, Japan, the US, and the UK. Last year, he joined the Splunk Observability Team to lead early design explorations for future Splunk product enhancements. These enhancements resulted in a 29% reduction in incident resolution time for Site Reliability Engineers within two months. Pia is a conversational assistant for Pittsburgh International Airport providing a connected, single-stop solution for all travel queries. As a data-rich assistant, Pia connects the different pain points and facilitates a seamless experience for both the airport and its passengers. Commercial air travel can present many difficulties for everyday people, from figuring out the best way to get to the airport and wrangling long lines once they’re there. Pia’s intelligent interfaces assist with air travelers’ complex and time-sensitive needs, while giving airports the data they need to best deliver their services to those passengers.
