About

Hi, I’m Zaid, an illustrator driven by a love for storytelling, character creation, and dynamics. My work spans concept art, storyboarding, short wordless narratives, comic-style art, and animated loops. I also share an interest in fashion illustration, graphics, and Logo designing.

I believe every image should have a pulse that helps bring it to life— whether it’s a fleeting moment, a fierce encounter, or a quiet story unfolding without words. My influences range from history and mythology to modern culture, with a special focus on dynamic action, expressive characters, and visual storytelling that speaks across languages.

When I’m not creating, I’m studying martial arts, at the gym, exploring new ideas, or chasing the next story waiting to be drawn.

Blood on the snow, sand & stone

The 11th Century, an era when three of the most notorious warrior cultures dominated the planet: Norse Vikings, Arabian Knights, and Japanese Samurai. Each culture has its own unique belief systems, morals/values, and fighting style that many have adopted and adapted in modern-day practice. As a fighter and martial artist myself, I felt it was important to honor, appreciate, and respect those of the past by examining how their methods could translate into my personal life. The artworks aim to display each culture's main attributes, allowing fellow viewers to fully immerse themselves, as well as demonstrate how they come together to form a harmonious triptych, despite their differences.

The eternal clash of opposites: the Japanese Oni embodying shadow and chaos, and the Chinese dragon a guardian of purity and light. Their battle reflects “The Edge” where good meets evil, light confronts darkness, and balance hangs in uncertainty. A vivid portrayal of mythological forces in cosmic tension.
