About
Doina Mindrean (2000, Republic of Moldova) is a graphic designer and a painter that graduated from the Graphic Design programme at Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Antwerp. Her lousy affairs extinct from her surroundings and the poetry of everyday, which includes linguistic theories, moving-image, bookmaking, impression painting, cow watching, reading, writing and design of the surroundings. Her practice is bracing in applied and fine arts.
The series of paintings titled Dreams is dedicated to the idea that every element in the natural world has a counterpart in the spiritual realm. This belief, that the physical and spiritual are intrinsically linked, is the driving force behind my work. Each painting in the series serves as a visual bridge between these two dimensions, capturing the essence of how the tangible and the intangible coexist and influence one another. The title Dreams reflects this concept, as dreams themselves often serve as a gateway between our everyday reality and the deeper, more mysterious aspects of our existence. Through this series, I aim to explore and express the profound connections that bind the material world to the spiritual, inviting the viewer to step into a space where these realms converge and interact.
